Job Summary: As a package room and dock security officer, you will oversee the package room and dock area within a residential complex. Your duties include monitoring incoming and outgoing packages, ensuring proper handling and distribution, and maintaining a secure environment for residents and their belongings. You will also be tasked with enforcing property rules and regulations, responding to security incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Package Handling: Receive, log, and organize incoming packages in the package room. Ensure accurate documentation of package deliveries and notify residents promptly of their arrivals.
Package Distribution: Safely and efficiently distribute packages to residents according to established procedures. Verify resident identification and obtain signatures as needed for package pickup.
Security Monitoring: Maintain constant vigilance over the package room and dock area through surveillance cameras, regular patrols, and visual inspections. Identify and respond promptly to any security threats or suspicious activities.
Access Control: Monitor and control access to the package room and dock area, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry. Enforce property policies regarding package deliveries, guest access, and resident privileges.
Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to residents, delivery personnel, and other visitors. Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner, striving to exceed resident expectations.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms within the package room and dock area. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks, maintain order, and ensure the safety of residents and property.
