Boutique business law firm with great, mutually supportive team seeks paralegal with excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent legal drafting and other writing skills, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Experience drafting filings, documents and contracts and using templates with merge fields preferred. Basic knowledge of business entities or ability to learn. A great candidate enjoys being a key player on a small but growing team and helping to make clients’ lives and businesses work better. Position requires timely execution of essential tasks, monitoring and managing of firm and client deadlines, data, and communications, and efficiently managing a full workload of varied projects. Must be able to keep numerous matters and workflows organized and flowing. Must be efficient, detail oriented, highly organized, a quick learner, clear, and thorough. Good typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe skills, essential. Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, changes, and business innovations. Experience with MyCase preferred but not required. Must be a stickler for privacy, security, confidentiality, and integrity.

Business background or interest in entrepreneurship and business a plus.
Full-time (typically 35 – 40 hrs./week)
Essential Functions:
- Attorney and legal services support (timely preparing client documents, submitting filings and handling government agency-related services, meeting deadlines);
- Handling mail and deliveries;
- Attention to client experience, handling of clear client communications in firm’s style;
- Handling of firm communications, including some marketing;
- Coordinating with team;
- Independent, timely self-management of responsibilities;
- Contact/matter/records management (timely recording, filing, and updating relevant contact, document, and matter information for firm and client records, reference, and use);
- Template/forms management (timely updating forms and templates, managing form and template files and versioning);
- Managing CRM (client intakes and firm relationship management);
- Handling scheduling, management of attorney and firm calendars
- Managing and updating paralegal processes and workflows;
- Available full-time;
- Consistent, predictable, and dependable;
- Ability to work in office.
Physical Considerations:
This is an in-office position in a location with one long flight of stairs and no elevator.
Compensation:
$62,500.00. Annual bonuses potentially awarded based on firm performance.
