Hiring For:
Behavior Therapist: This is a community-based position that requires travel in the Denver Metro area. This position starts out as Part Time with the potential to be Full Time.
**More Maitri, Inc. will provide training for: CPR/First Aid and CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
**More Maitri, Inc. can provide Clinical Supervision for this position if needed
Responsibilities:
· Carry a caseload of behavior therapy clients and meet with them weekly, unless otherwise specified
· Meet with potential clients and respond to referrals
· Attend scheduled sessions in an appropriate setting and implement one-to-one behavior intervention services with clients, staff and families
· Develop an assessment in conjunction with BT supervisor, client and client’s supports
· Develop behavior plans and train team members on the plan
· Supervise activities of any behavior line staff that maybe assigned to your case load
· Implement behavior intervention strategies
· Maintain close, collaborative working relationships with community supports, case managers, individual's families, etc.
· Collect and analyze tracking data
· Keep in regular contact with Interdisciplinary team and attend all IDT meetings and annual meetings
· Meet with Clinical Director for weekly individual clinical supervision and bi-weekly group clinical supervision
· Manage your own schedule independently
· Document sessions and turn in documentation weekly including billable hours
· Complete time sheets and mileage accurately and completely and send in when it is due
Requirements:
· At a minimum must at least have a master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work; MSW, LPCC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, or PhD preferred
· Registration with DORA and if unlicensed, must be registered as a psychotherapist
· Must have and maintain professional liability insurance
· Must have personal vehicle, car insurance and valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
· Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated understanding of programming/therapeutic services specific to persons with intellectual disabilities
· Proficiency using word processing, spreadsheet applications, online and traditional information databases
