The Opportunity:
FastSpring is the world's leading payment platform for SaaS, software, and digital product companies like video games. To support our growth initiatives, we're looking to grow our team, including hiring a Partner Manager with payments industry knowledge who is specifically focused on establishing and scaling our partner channel at FastSpring.
The Position:
To further strengthen our team and propel our growth initiatives, we're in search of a Partner Manager to lead the establishment and expansion of our partner channel at FastSpring. This is a quota-carrying role that involves cultivating referral and marketing partnerships aimed at generating leads and revenue for the FastSpring sales team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this position is a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of FastSpring's strategic expansion and will fuel revenue growth for our ambitious sales team.
This position allows for remote work, enabling you to contribute from anywhere in the US. Required payments industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop FastSpring's partner strategy and GTM model to scale the partnership business to 20% of revenue sourced from partners.
- Build out FastSpring's partner operations and infrastructure in partnership with our Finance and Operations teams.
- Build partnership pipeline through outbounding and networking efforts.
- Acquire and build new partnerships that help drive leads to the sales team.
- Partner pipeline management via Salesforce to ensure accurate forecast of performance and deliver strong results.
- Monitor and report on partner performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build customized value propositions and roll-out a strategic partnership plan.
- Source and work with partners to execute acquisition initiatives such as joint events to drive the leads funnel.
- Lead partner onboarding and actively manage the current partner network.
Great candidates for this role will have:
- 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, delivering incremental revenue via recruiting, onboarding and the direct management of partners.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth through partners.
- Solid team player with a remarkable ability to work in a matrix team environment.
- Strong understanding of building and executing Partner operations and go-to-market strategies.
- Possesses a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem, including incentive programs, enablement offerings and success measures.
- The ability to maintain relationships with a CRM, and with the assistance of our sales team, to convert those relationships into pipeline for FastSpring.
- An eye for identifying new opportunities and strategies FastSpring could pursue.
- Self-motivated, positive and results oriented.
- Ability to focus on results while working independently and remotely when given broad direction and desired results.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for meetings or conferences.
- In-depth knowledge of payment/merchant acquiring industry trends, products, and services would be advantageous.
