Duties & Tasks
Supports shipping by counting, labeling, packaging and moving production product as it is transported to and from the warehouse facility.
- Promptly move product for loading and unloading of trucks
- Perform all tasks in accordance with current quality system documentation and procedures
- Utilize shipping tools as required for weight counting, bar coding, scanning and generating computerized inventory transactions
- Ensure product is promptly moved to designated location for shipment or for inventory
- Communicate shipment requirements to Assembly Department and Quality Department as needed
- Ensure safe operation of Forklift at all times to protect workers, product, equipment and facility
- Pull, count and pack finished goods for shipment. Ensure accuracy of counts and labeling requirements
- Ensure packaging of product is according to customer requirements. Ensure product is safe for transport
- Weight Count, Label and move all material from outsource supplier to appropriate location
- Communicate any shipment discrepancies to the Shipping Coordinator immediately
- Maintain good organization and housekeeping principles for finished goods inventory and shipping dock location
- Immediately segregate any non-conforming product found in preparation of shipment. Notify the Quality Department or other personnel as appropriate
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of shipping dock
- Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Shipping Coordinator

Technical Knowledge
· Familiarity with Windows OS, Keyboard, mouse and scanner.
· Capable of reading and understanding Blue Prints
