Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising carpentry projects, reading blueprints, with experience in new homes, remodels & additions, as well as experience with construction management software to ensure successful project completion. Applicants should be willing to work on any phase of our projects (formwork to finish).
Must be able to work independently as well as with a crew. Must have reliable transportation, preferably a truck, basic industry tools & bags, show up on time & work all day without distractions. Starting pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of carpenters in various construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Oversee the installation of various carpentry elements on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to achieve project goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics
- Knowledge of construction management practices and software (Ex. Builder trend)
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of carpenters effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
