Board Certified Behavior Analyst
King Haven Counseling Group offers a variety of outpatient services based on individual and or family`s specific needs. Our services are offered on-site with the individual, family, couple, or group at the home, school, office or other location. They are designed to provide each client with a customized program for maximizing his/her potential.
Overview:
This is a leadership role, and the ideal candidate should be able to develop client’s treatment plans, as well as supervise Behavior Technicians to implement such plans. Behavior Technicians will rely on their BCBA to assist them in overcoming challenges and answer questions about their day-to-day client interactions. Solid communication skills and openness to feedback are necessary. The BCBA should be organized, and self-sufficient to successfully perform in this role collaborating with other professionals in mental health outpatient settings.
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to individuals in need. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient care and promoting behavioral health outcomes.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to support clients in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the client's care
- Utilize your knowledge of special education practices to tailor interventions for individuals with diverse needs
- Document progress notes, treatment summaries, and other medical documentation accurately and timely
- Work with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly children
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and colleagues
