We are hiring a team of Data Center HAC Technicians to join one of our largest cloud-computing companies and tech giants, as they are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. As a Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) Technician, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center cooling systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hot aisle containment systems to ensure proper airflow management and temperature control within our facilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in HVAC, data center operations, or related fields preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for fabrication, assembly, and installation of containment materials is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings, diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and safely perform tasks at elevated heights.
Responsibilities:
- Install hot aisle containment wrap systems in accordance with engineering specifications and best practices to optimize airflow management and cooling efficiency.
- Work closely with facilities team leads to coordinate installation projects and ensure alignment with overall data center design and layout.
- Fabricate and customize containment materials as needed to fit specific data center layouts and configurations.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment for installation projects.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of HAC wrap systems to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
- Repair containment wrap components as needed to ensure uninterrupted operation of cooling systems.
- Document installation activities, maintenance procedures, and system configurations in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
