Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize electronic scheduler to create, verify, and confirm appointments
- Coordinate with providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Assist with medical record management and documentation
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with the dermatology team to provide excellent patient care and support
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dermatology receptionist or front desk agent preferred
- Familiarity with software systems such as ModMed
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology procedures is a plus, medical and aesthetic
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
