Position Summary: The Enterprise Data Warehouse Developer-BI Platform Engineer is responsible for establishing the standardized enterprise Business Intelligence Platform system architecture and for developing the structures needed to support the Director of Insights and the Centers of Excellence in delivering enterprise metrics and KPIs. This position is responsible for creating data mart structures, transforming and maintaining enterprise data within the data marts and data warehouse in order to support the enterprise analytics reporting needs. Responsibilities will include building a solid knowledge of the end-to-end enterprise data lifecycle, data mappings, data models, structures and dimensions within and between transaction systems to support the business intelligence reporting. The position will be responsible for developing ETL processes and assist in transaction system data administration. The position will at all times ensures data integrity, quality of all project deliverables and promotes cross functional, collaborative partnership and decision-making.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for establishing the standardized Business Intelligence Platform system architecture and for developing the Business Intelligence Platform data structures needed to support the Director of Insights and the Centers of Excellence in delivering enterprise metrics and KPIs.

Create data mart structures, transform and maintain enterprise data within the data marts to support the enterprise analytics reporting needs.

Design, develop, document, and implement data mappings for data mart ETL implementations, data modeling implementations, and coding for data extraction from the enterprise source systems.

Responsible for Data Integrity and Configuration Control within Transaction Processing, Data Transformations, Aggregates and Representations.

Data Governance oversight responsibility within cross-functional programs.

Enterprise Data Governance with design and audit, automated quality detections and controls within the Business Intelligence Architecture.

Roadmap Release planning of Strategic Outcomes, Leading Indicators, KPIs, Industry impact metrics.

Develops SCI Expertise/Applies Relevant Industry Expertise to advance business goals.

Optimized end-to-end data flows and data models consistently for consistent reporting.

Focus to proactively improve and tuning data quality, accessibility, performance, and security needs.

Supports EPM departmental goal of excellent service delivery by standardization, simplification and optimization of processes and operations.

Actively participates in and/or lead technology committees, work groups, or project teams as assigned.

Education Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in information or computer science or related fields or equivalent years of experience.
Experience Required:
Minimum 7-10 years professional experience with enterprise data management, data warehousing, application interfaces and communicating business data needs and end-to-end workflows.

Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
IT Roles must be able to position self to maintain computers and equipment, including under desks and in server room(s). Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
