Job Description
Lakeside Organic Gardens is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Shift-Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 PM, some Saturdays required
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Responds to requests from visitors, callers, and employees and coordinates with appropriate personnel to respond to needs. Completes all responsibilities of a Receptionist.
- Print and mail invoices
- Mail any other outgoing mail
- Sort and file incoming invoices and packing slips
- Providing support to the Accounting Supervisor and corporate administration department only under the direction and approval by Accounting Supervisor (or C.F.O. when Accounting Supervisor is out of the office).
- Performing basic entry level bookkeeping, office tasks, such as filing, data entry, processing the mail, etc.
- Communications with customers and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions; such as receiving/applying customer payments, issuing vendor checks, updating ledgers, periodic report updates, etc.
- Working with Team members to help resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Take office/Costco supply inventory and order
- Take ink inventory and order
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a fast learner
- Demonstrate ability to operate basic office machines and the Company's system.
- Reliable and punctual
- Team oriented
- Multi task
- Bilingual and bi-literate required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
