Unifeye Vision Partners is currently hiring for a Market Outreach Manager, San Diego CA.
SUMMARY
The Outreach Manager in the San Diego is responsible for providing exceptional representation and sales outreach to practice referral sources for Eye Care of San Diego, Pendleton Eye Care and Eye Care of La Jolla. In this role, the Outreach Manager will own and manage an outreach territory with assigned referring doctors (MDs, ODs and Nurse Practitioners.) and prospects. Through a combination of sales, promotion, outreach coordination and communication initiatives this position will drive new referrals to UVP practices and grow the referral network within the San Diego territory.
In this capacity, the Outreach Manager will manage the sales territory by creating and executing a territory plan to include engagement with referring doctors, achieving productivity requirements and the initiation of joint call events with UVP providers.
The position requires strategic and creative thinking, outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of practice management software and CRM tools is required, and a strength in Microsoft products (including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is needed. The position reports locally to the Director of Outreach and Marketing in California and serves as part of the Marketing and Outreach team, reporting to UVP’s SVP of Marketing and Communications (based in San Luis Obispo, CA).
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Represent UVP in an assigned territory to all assigned referring sources such as PCPs, ODs, Dermatologists, Endocrinologists and Nurse Practioners.
- Provide timely response and resolution to Referring Physician inquiries that are directed to the Referring Physician option on the Patient Access phone tree.
- Track (phone and/or email) incoming physician referrals in coordination with the Outreach Team at the practice.
- Support Referring Physician events and CE presentations to ensure clear communication and coordination with attending Providers and Referring Doctors and internal support teams.
- Coordinate and collaborate with practice’s Patient Access Team to train them in developing stronger communication and coordination with Marketing and Outreach teams.
- Manage the list of referring partners who choose to co-manage with the practice to ensure we respect and maintain their unique partnership requests.
- Develop capabilities and understanding of the Outreach rep position and train in conjunction with the existing Outreach team to provide support to the UVP San Diego Referring Doctor community.
- Develop strong working knowledge of LeadSquared (CRM) and assist in the data integration prior to and after launch.
- Manage logistics and execution of the “New Referral Program” (highlighting any referring provider who has sent us a first referral in any 12-month period). Welcome/thank you kits are assembled and distributed each month and include: : Thank You letter, Brochures, Referral Forms (RFC), branded pen, and key contact information for the Outreach Coordinator/practice.
- Support and help manage the practice’s online digital marketing presence including website updates, reputation management platforms, location details, etc.
Education & Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in an administrative and/or related field
- Exceptional attention to detail with data entry, communications, and outreach interaction
- Healthcare experience desired but not required
- Ability to work, multi-task and flex to an often rapidly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills including problem-solving and team building
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Word required)
