Job Summary:
The Director of Finance & Accounting serves as a strategic partner across the organization to drive corporate objectives and achieve growth and profitability goals. This role collaborates across all facets of the business, providing visibility to key stakeholders, surfacing new insights, and improving processes. The Director will lead and manage the Finance and Accounting Departments at our Portland headquarters and international entities.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable regulations.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics.
- Oversee finance, accounting, risk management, payroll, and related areas.
- Manage treasury functions and forecast cash flow positions.
- Coordinate with outside auditors for annual audits and preparation of audited financials.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance with federal, state, local, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage insurance coverages and mitigate financial risks for the organization.
Education and/or Experience
- MBA in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively complex technical accounting/finance experience. Five or more years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing and consumer products environment required.

The employee frequently pushes/pulls an average of 40 lbs., and occasionally pushes/pulls up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Working Conditions/Physical Hazards
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment and is occasionally exposed to a production environment. The work area is well-lit and air-conditioned. All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required. The position will be hybrid based in our Portland, OR factory.
