Experience the magic of Yellowstone National Park in the fall! Enjoy cool fall temperatures, watch geysers erupt against the backdrop of vibrant fall colors, and see the amazing wildlife. As part of our Food & Beverage team for 2-3 months, you’ll soak in the park's natural beauty and provide legendary hospitality to our guests in this extraordinary setting.
We operate 9 lodging facilities with over 2,000 guest rooms across 6 locations throughout Yellowstone. Guest accommodations include cabins and hotel rooms ranging from rustic to modern. We’re hiring Front Desk Employees to Live. Work. Explore. this summer in iconic Yellowstone National Park!
Job Summary:
Front Desk Agents are responsible for checking guests into hotel rooms, providing great customer service and being subject-matter experts on Yellowstone National Park.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates:Start August 13th - Mid October 2024
Pay: $15.25
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
- Resolve guest problems skillfully with a willingness and desire to understand a guest’s
viewpoint and to take any necessary steps so that the guest is satisfied when they leave. -
Document guest problems and/or complaints using correct forms and procedures.

Make, confirm, assist, and cancel reservations, including promoting and selling park activities.

Register guests while receiving and posting proper payment and finalizing guest accounts at
checkout. -
Offer Yellowstone Forever donation, environmental program, and open account cards to
guests during the check-in process. -
Accurately follow cash handling procedures and secure bank at all times.

Post charges to guest accounts for services and purchases.

Balance all receipts and postings for work performed during shift at the end of shift.

Answer telephones within three rings using correct greetings and telephone etiquette.

Other duties as assigned by Front Desk Manager.
Qualifications:
- Human relations skills. Must be a "people-person" who thrives on public contact.

Previous management or supervisory experience

Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook

Communication, sales, cash handling, and computer skills required
Physical Requirements include:

Lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs

Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching as needed

Standing for long periods of time and walking up in down stairs as well as outdoors
