The Young Adult Services Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the statewide administration of the Extended Foster Care contract and in program development and improvement as well as all facets of the program's service delivery. This position is responsible for direct supervision of Young Adult Coaches and provides regular feedback to the program director of issues that would impact the life skills and case plan of young adults in the Extended Foster Care program through DCS. This position, in conjunction with other Christian Family Care (CFC) programs, helps to develop and implement person-driven, strength-based case plans with a therapeutic and relational approach.
As the YAS Supervisor, you will:
- Work closely with the agency's assigned DCS consultant to plan and implement training, update and develop processes, and monitor the progress of each young person's case plan. Further collaborate with DCS case managers, social service staff, and community partners.
- Oversee timely submittals of case management activities and tasks for Young Adult Coach caseloads.
- Supervise Young Adult Coaches statewide by articulating expectations, displaying model behavior, maintaining open lines of communication and being clear about roles and relationships.
- Track and report all program activities monthly. Ensure database maintenance in extendedReach and Guardian.
- Assist in the completion of monthly billing to DCS to include required deliverables.
Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in social work, education, psychology or related human service field. Master's degree preferred. State contract requires that the individual in this role must be 26 years old or over. There will be heavy travel within the greater Phoenix metro area. Administrative work may be completed at home, but there are regular departmental meetings at the Central Avenue CFC office. Availability after hours on weekends and holidays in the event of a critical incident.
