POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the retail & Online business, providing leadership and supervision to the team to ensure that desired results are achieved. The General Managers oversee and direct the delivery of products, services or functions at the retail and e-commerce level all while creating and nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

- Performance Management: Able to lead, manage, and mentor others. Able to lead by example and develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports to ensure goals are met. Provides effective positive and constructive feedback to the Team.
- Report directly to the President to ensure processes, systems, and staff are all operating at the highest levels.
As the General Manager, you will:
- Achieve revenue and EBITDA targets while managing P&L
- Assist in recruiting and interviewing new associates
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to reach potential in a growing company
- Ensure the proper staffing and coverage is in place through correct scheduling to forecasted sales
- Building strategies to maintain positive Customer Satisfaction scores
- Maintain company and store merchandising standards, overseeing efforts to consistently present an organized, clean, and fun in-store experience
- Ensure inventories are at optimal levels by managing minimum inventory levels and re-orders.
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4+ years of previous experience operating/managing in similar environments
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading teams
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce & fulfillment warehouse and systems
- 2+ years experience in retail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must be able to work weekends, holiday, and evenings
- Experience and knowledge of guitar products and other musical instruments.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferences:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Understanding of retail systems and processes
