Job Title: Corporate Event Planner
Summary:
Seeking an experience Corporate Event Planner for one of the largest Marine transportation companies within the United States. This role is pivotal in planning and coordinating large corporate events and requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional.
Opportunity:
- Compensation: $60,000.00-$70,000.00
- Permanent/Fulltime

- Schedule: Flexible Schedule Monday-Friday
Primary Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute large-scale corporate events for 200+ employees, held 4-5 times a year.
- Overnight travel outside of Houston (2-3 days) 1-2 times a year for corporate events.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
- Manage event budgets and ensure all events are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain event timelines and task lists.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Prepare and distribute event materials, such as invitations, programs, and promotional content.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the leadership team.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Manage office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office activities.
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper files.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in an administrative role, supporting leadership teams.
- 3+ years’ experience in planning and coordinating corporate events, particularly large-scale events with 200+ attendees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- HS Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Certification in Event Planning
