Front Desk /patient Coordinator
Overview:
KEA Smile Studio has an opening for a Patient Coordinator who can be heard "smiling over the phone" and enjoy challenges and enjoys working with a fun ,fast paced team.
The ideal candidate will be highly energetic professional , who can comfortable handle making outgoing calls to our patients of record, collecting copays, and taking responsibility for the schedule. Strong verbal communication skills ,the ability to multi-task, and time management is a must.

Hours are Monday to Thursday , 8:30- 5 PM, Friday 8:30-12:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage inquiries efficiently
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
- Verify patient information and insurance details accurately
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Handle Dentrix software for appointment scheduling and record management
- Provide administrative support to the dental team as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a medical or dental clinic setting
- Familiarity with <Office> applications for data entry and documentation
- Knowledge of <Patient service> principles to deliver exceptional customer service
- Experience with <Urgent care> operations is a plus
- Proficiency in <Clinic> procedures and medical administrative support tasks
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
Skills:
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using <dental terminology> accurately
- Familiarity with <Dental clinic> operations is advantageous
