Position Overview:
You will play a crucial role in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users within our client organizations. You will be responsible for resolving escalated desktop and hardware issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on Microsoft 365 products and tenant administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to escalated technical support requests from end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve issues that require further expertise.
- Document support activities, including resolutions and troubleshooting steps, in the ticketing system.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT troubleshooting and best practices.
- Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Configure Microsoft 365 tenants, licenses, and software, including but not limited to:
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Teams
- Intune
- Azure Active Directory
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience with DNS management is highly preferable.
- Intermediate understanding of DNS principles is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a desktop support or IT technician role.
- Microsoft 365 Certified Professional (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent) or 2-3 years of demonstrable experience working with Microsoft 365 products and tenant administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Office Suite and Admin Portals.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and other directory services.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with end-users.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ISC2, additional Microsoft Certifications) a plus.
