Summary:
Goldbelt C6, LLC., is seeking IT Specialists to maintain and update the dedicated internal network, assist with implementation of mobile devices and cloud services, provide tier II and III customer support, and participate in maintaining an accurate IT inventory. These positions are located in the Information Management Division (IMD) within the Executive Office (OESDRL/EX).
Work Location: Working domestically - Temporary Duty Station (TDY) - Continental United States (CONUS)
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute configurations for routers, switches, wireless AP’s and WLAN controllers using Cisco/HP hardware.
- Carry out network performance monitoring, planning, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
- Work as a team member with other technical staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
- Monitor performance and analyzed network irregularities.
- Support mobile device and mobile device inventory.
- Rebuild network infrastructure and keep the network up-to-date and secured.
- Troubleshoot various network issues, affect solutions, and collaborate with staff and outside vendors to resolve complex problems.
- Install, configure, operate, and maintain Operating Systems including Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, VMware ESXi.

- Ability to work with a wide variety of actors within OES, DRL and other Bureaus and offices within the Department of State, as well as with interagency and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology related field preferred. Proven experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Some travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with firewall deployments, IPsec, and SharePoint Administration.
- Currently has an active Secret clearance.
- Prior experience working with the U.S. Department of State is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
