The stockroom associate reports to the VP of logistic, his/her duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- The Stock Clerk position at Xtreme Aviation supports the request and logistical movements of materials by Xtreme Aviation Technical Operations
- This role will be in charge of maintaining accurate stock levels to guarantee materials available for maintenance events to avoid service disruptions by aircraft being out of service due to parts
- Process all materials movement requests accurately and on time
- Perform cycle counts accurately
- Maintain up to date shelf life on every stockroom
- Issue all parts to maintain accurate inventory counts
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate(e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
- Issue tools and materials required for maintenance
- Keep records of what was issued and returned
- Generate a “Lost Tool Report” to record any tools that were not returned
- Maintain a tool inspection to ensure that all tools issued are safe for use
- Maintain control over all broken tools, and report as appropriate
- Maintain an inspection and calibration for all tools requiring calibration
- Restricting and controlling access to the stockroom and its contents to only authorized personnel
- Issuing only approved, serviceable parts, tools and materials to repair station personnel
- Identification, proper tagging and segregation of any material or part that does not meet the standards outlined in the QA manual
- Notifying the Stores Manager of shortages of material or parts needed to perform required work
- Performs inspection upon receipt of aircraft parts, supplies and equipment from vendors to ensure accuracy and completeness of the order
- Fulfills requests for aircraft parts for Xtreme Aviation
- Packages and properly documents parts shipments to be distributed to customers and/or to vendors
- Proficient with computers, basic knowledge of word editing software, inventory sheets and email management
- Warehouse Operations Knowledge, experienced with shipping, receiving and stocking practices
- Ability to carry several assignments at the same time and deliver positive results
- Ability to adjust to continuous change, ability to shift focus to new task while keeping productivity and without losing sight of general goals
- Detail Oriented, able to produce accurate work to avoid unnecessary reproduction
- Dependable, completion of all assigned tasks and maintains good attendance
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand during extended period of time
- Able to endure temperature changes and outside work
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must understand, read, and write English.
- Shall possess the knowledge and ability necessary to perform the work.
- Self-initiated, able to complete needed work and/or identify areas that require work
- Shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in the work being performed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exposed to high levels of noise
- Able to lift fifty (50) pounds without mechanical assistance

- Able to access aircraft maintenance areas of the hangar
