Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the Reporting & Analytics Specialist position is part of the Operations & Technology Services Department. The Reporting & Analytics Specialist plays a pivotal role in generating and managing reports tailored to the specific needs of the organization. This includes running and scheduling existing reports related to financial, revenue cycle, operational, regulatory (e.g., UDS), and clinical aspects. The Reporting & Analytics Specialist will be able to create reports from scratch or customize existing ones from the EMR library.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops, maintains, and/or modifies reports and dashboards to ensure that all data is accurate and current. Provide clinical, operational, financial, regulatory, and relicense reports to leadership, providers, and staff as required.

Develops and maintains a data dictionary to ensure standard report definitions, calculation mythologies, and end-user interpretation.

Gathers all requirements for business and clinical reports regarding financial, revenue cycle, research, quality, staffing productivity, staffing credentials and more.

Functions as subject matter expert (SME) about EHR specialization. Acts as a liaison between the client and vendor to develop the required reports during implementations or system upgrades.

Documents and tracks report requests and development within the ticketing system.
