Requirements for the RN- Nephrology:
- BSN Preferred.
- Graduate from accredited school of nursing
- 1+ years of hospital nursing experience.
- :Current New York State Registered Nurse License BLS Required
The Nephrology Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to patients with kidney-related health issues. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The Nephrology RN is responsible for ensuring high standards of care in alignment with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The Nephrology RN assesses and monitors patients’ kidney health, administers medications and treatments as prescribed by nephrologists, performs dialysis treatments and educates patients and their families about kidney disease management, treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
