We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Support Technician Level 1 to join our growing telecom company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP systems and networking, with the ability to provide excellent customer support and troubleshooting for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for VoIP systems, networking issues, and general IT inquiries
- Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP-related problems, including call quality, connectivity, and configuration issues
- Assist with network diagnostics and basic network troubleshooting
- Manage and prioritize support tickets through our help desk system
- Email Management
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- Document all support interactions, solutions, and procedures
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our knowledge base
- Assist with basic VoIP system setups and configurations
- Provide clear and concise communication to both technical and non-technical users
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with telecom and networking technologies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a telecom or IT environment
- Strong knowledge of VoIP systems, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching
- Familiarity with SIP trunking and PBX systems
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or VoIP-specific certifications) are a plus
