Membership Specialist:
The Membership Specialist is responsible for day-to-day work and sales of membership to current and potential members. They will develop relationships with prospective members, current members, and other groups in the community to grow our membership base. This person is responsible for being fully knowledgeable about the center and its programs/services, delivering the highest level of member and guest service while creating positive experiences for our patrons. They must exemplify professionalism and ensure we adhere to the mission of the JCC.
Responsibilities & Duties:

Provide first-line member and guest service to all prospective members and enrolled members

Maintain a working knowledge of the MJCCA’s membership structure, current programs and events

Work half time in our Welcome Center at our new Eva G. Lipman Pickleball Complex

Meet prospective members, provide information, conduct tours, and convert tours to a membership purchase.

Enroll new members and process new member applications

Help organize, and execute membership promotions

Address and respond to customer and staff questions, requests, concerns, and issues

Maintain prospective member data base using a CRM software

Proactively build and develop relationships with new and existing members by providing premiere customer service to maximize member referrals.

Recruit new members through outbound calling and lead generation

Follow up with prospective members on a regular schedule

Demonstrates exemplary sales skills by encouraging personal monthly acquisition goals are met through persistent and enthusiastic outreach.

Handle administrative duties of the department

Ensure all emails and calls, both direct and to the team inboxes, are returned and answered

Complete any additional projects as assigned by the Membership Director

Membership responsibilities – Available to work some nights and weekends
