Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator

The AP Coordinator provides support in carrying out accounting and financial duties. This position assists, supports, and maintains the bookkeeping and accounting functions of the organization. The AP Coordinator serves in a flexible environment where they assist with low to medium aspects of the accounting process.

Maintains and reviews all related accounting records and accounting files in an accurate and orderly manner

Coding and invoice processing, all aspects of accounts payable.

Maintains Accounts Payable ledger and prepares cash disbursements.

Completes bank and credit card account reconciliations monthly.

Assist with account reconciliations as needed.

Maintains an accurate bookkeeping balance and informs management of discrepancies or problems immediately

Interacts with all company personnel regarding financial issues

Assists with annual audit data gathering

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Manages vendor relationships, working statements, payment terms, resolving invoice discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Prior accounts payable and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the aptitude to effectively learn company- specific accounting and operations system
PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; Non-profit experience; Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge Accounting software. Experience with Avid Xchange.

The noise level in the work environment is low, consistent with that of a typical office.
