Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Bar Manager/ Event Coordinator to join our team. Our ideal candidate has experience managing the day to day opperations with in a bar setting. You will be responsible for hiring and managing staff and training along with planning, organizing, and coordinating events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully. You will also be responisble for ordering all inventory for the bar (no food involved). This will also include a large indoor and outdoor event space.
Duties:
- Plan and execute various events such as conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate meetings
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all needs are met
- Create timelines, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- Manage event logistics during the event to address any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Evaluate event success and provide post-event reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Barmanagement/ event planning/ coordination
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and trends
