Required : Program manager Experience (W2 Position)
Job Summary/Description
The primary purpose of the program manager position is to provide administrative support and perform complex administrative duties for the AVP requiring judgment within general guidelines. Ideal candidate would have a track record of exceptional written and oral communication skills, cultural sensitivity, demonstrated diplomacy skills, exceptional organizational skills and successful event planning skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute large corporate/academic events.
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Schedules large and complex meetings with institutional leaders across the enterprise (Division Heads, Department Chairs, VPs, AVPs, CSO etc) and coordinates details for the AVP including preparing meeting materials and distributing to appropriate individuals.
- Takes detailed minutes of meetings.
- Coordinates all travel arrangements and reimbursements for the AVP.
- Prepares correspondence, memos, documents and detailed reports for the AVP.
- Prepares all presentations for the AVP.
- Coordinates special Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) projects.
- Coordinates data collection and performs data analysis as specified for the AVP
- Creates graphics for presentations and documents using multiple software types such as Microsoft suite, Adobe suite etc.
- Proofreads documents and presentations for spelling and grammatical errors.
- May provide specific administrative support to the Office of the CSO.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD
EXPERIENCE
Required: Five years of related program management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.
Preferred: At least 10 years in providing administrative support to executive/senior leaders of large organizations, meeting coordination, event planning and execution. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated expertise with computer software. Ability to process large amounts of information quickly. Experience working in a team environment.

Pay: Up to $46.00 per hour
