Lochen Equipment is looking for a service technician to repair and maintain new and used skid steers, compact tractors, farm tractors, farm equipment, mini excavators, utility vehicles, and lawn and garden equipment in a safe and enjoyable job setting. Willing to train and school candidates with modest and seasoned back grounds. We are a stable company who have been serving our customers and valuing our team for over 120 years.
Service Technician must have successful hands-on experience with Kubota, Gehl, Cub Cadet and / or other manufacturers of tractors, skids steers, construction, and lawn equipment.
Service Technician Requirements / Experience:
- Diesel & gas engine repair & diagnostics.
- Experienced with the latest electronically controlled machines.
- Experience with welding and fabricating is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics with a history of successful troubleshooting and technical experience.
- Must be a self-starter and be a strong communicator.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Must maintain daily service reports & equipment status reports.
- Competent in MS Excel / Word / Outlook (email) for technical questions with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and in a service-oriented manner, both written and verbally, to: customers, vendors, manufacturers, etc. for technical questions and support.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, drug screening, and background check.
- Must be able to operate a laptop computer for diagnostics, service reports, and time reporting.
- Must have own tools.
- Stays up-to-date on technical changes, product developments, manufacturer releases, etc. Attends training as required.
- Must work well with others.
- 2-3 years of previous Ag / equipment repair preferred.
