Cabinetworks Group has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift, Production Supervisor within our facility located in Thompsontown, Pennsylvania.
Responsible for all 2nd Shift, Operational Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Training and Employee Relations actions and activities.
Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:
- SAFETY – Ensuring that all actions and activities are accomplished in a safe and effective manner.
- QUALITY – Driving high quality performance through consistent procedure, process, and practice adherence.
- PRODUCTIVITY – Hour-by-hour management of all variables to ensure maximum productivity without sacrificing Safety or Quality.
- COST – Continuously focusing on the reduction and elimination of scrap, rework, and non-value-added work.
- TRAINING – Coaching and mentoring Forepersons, and Employees through on-the-floor leadership by example.
- EMPLOYEE RELATIONS – Focusing on Employee engagement and training to best minimize turnover and improve shift performance.
- Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within one (1) year or less with regards to all Framed Value Stream actions and activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate or better Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Manufacturing Operations, or Engineering.
- LEAN Manufacturing experience.
- Prior wood product or building product experience.
- Prior Time and Attendance responsibilities (KRONOS)
- Honorably Discharged Veteran
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
