We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our USA B2B Sales team, Virgin Incentives, the business sales department of Virgin Experience Gifts.
The B2B team bring extraordinary incentives to the corporate world, showcasing the very best of what the Virgin family has to offer through employee rewards. We own this revenue stream and drive growth by providing clients with outstanding service, a tireless work ethic and a commitment to welcoming new businesses on board in the best possible way.
Virgin Incentives have been providing experiences as rewards, incentives, recognition and corporate gifts in the UK for over 15 years. Now in the USA, our sales function has shown amazing growth over the past two years and our ambition is to drive this to even higher levels!
With the whole of the USA to target, the sky's the limit for B2B sales in the United States and commission is payable on all the sales you make.
This role will play a key part in the development of the USA business, by driving new business opportunities. With various new business tools, the support of the wider UK / USA team and an amazing brand - you will be provided all you need to make a difference to employees / customers of companies around the USA. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and a passion for the experience industry, an understanding of the reward and recognition sector, and a strong network of key HR and Reward professionals.
This is a fully remote role, with the preferred candidate based in either Colorado or on the East Coast. You’ll be joining a small remote team based across the USA as well as a supportive and established sales team in the UK.
- Drive sales above and beyond our yearly targets
- Deliver profitable business operating within the parameters of the Virgin Incentives commercial model
- Raise the brand awareness of Virgin Incentives across the USA
- Build our commercial network across the USA
- Support existing sales people within the business
- Hit agreed KPIs with regards to targets including sales activity, new business and growing existing customers
- Management of any clients you onboard
- Delivery of new customers across the US, with a focus on specific regions
- Be a valuable part of a well-established global team
- Recent experience working within an outbound sales based role
- Strong telesales background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the company's product offering
- The ability to build relationships quickly, effectively and for the long term
- Be able to be proactive and persistent in your approach
- Experience of CRM systems ideally Dynamics
- Network of HR and/or Marketing contacts
- Confidence and the ability to travel to conferences and events, representing the Virgin Incentives brand on occasion (this will be pre-planned)
- The ability to respond well to challenging targets
- Self-motivation to hit the ground running
- Be a team player - with a small team in the USA it is essential that you are willing to get involved at all levels
- Competitive compensation - $60,000 dependent on experience + Commission from day 1

- This is a fully remote role, but must be based in the US, preferably within driving distance to Denver, CO
