Job Summary:
With the expansion of our service, we have an immediate open position for a junior medical physicist/dosimetrist in the beautiful world-renowned Napa Valley area of Northern California. Under the supervision of the chief physicist, this position will give the candidate great opportunity for career development in both dosimetry and physics.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Candidate is expected to perform treatment planning, including 3D/IMRT/SBRT/SRS, the planning task is relatively light allowing time to hone planning skills as well as focus on physics development. Candidate will also assist with special procedures including LDR Prostate seed implant/brachytherapy planning and delivery and Xofigo injections. Experience with Eclipse, ARIA and MIM is preferred. Equipment includes Vairan IX and TrueBeam LINACS.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of Master’s degree in medical physics or related CAMPEP-approved program, graduation from CAMPEP approved residency or equivalent work experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year by experience with AAPM Salary Survey.
