We are looking for a Energetic Medical Assistant (MA) who is professional and loves to work in a fast paced office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking Vitals and Rooming Patients
- Injections and drawing of labs - Phlebotomy is a core job functions
- Apply appropriate ethical, legal, confidentiality and advocacy principles to the planning and delivery of patient care.
- Collaborate with Practitioner and clinical staff to develop and monitor goals of patient therapy.
- Work with providers to lend assistance during injections and procedures.
- Communicate with Practitioner as well as document any changes in patient status.
- Turn over exam rooms.
- clean and disinfect workstations and equipment.
- Collect specimen, run diagnostics, and generate reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- CMA or RMA
- Current BLS certification
- Integrative Medicine experience or a strong desire to learn Integrative Medicine preferred
- Must be experienced using EMR and proficient in general computer usage including Microsoft Office suite
- Effective communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Occasional prolonged standing/walking. Occasionally lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients. Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching.

This is an hourly, Monday through Friday position that requires some flexibility in order to accommodate patient needs. Hourly rate is based upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant. We are located in the heart of rush hour, in Dunwoody, right off of I285. While this is a great location for our patients, it can provide a challenge for our employees.
