Responsibilities:
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to determine clients' goals and fitness levels
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' needs and goals
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients
- Provide ongoing motivation, support, and guidance to clients throughout their fitness journey
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their exercise programs
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle choices to enhance their overall well-being
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment
Skills:
- Fitness Sales: Ability to promote and sell personal training services to potential clients
- Anatomy Knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy and how it relates to exercise and movement
- Sports Coaching: Experience in coaching or training individuals in various sports or athletic activities
- Physical Education: Knowledge of physical education principles and practices
- Body Mechanics: Understanding of proper body mechanics to prevent injuries during exercise
- Program Design: Ability to create effective and individualized exercise programs for clients
- Personal Training: Experience in providing one-on-one personal training sessions
- Group Fitness: Ability to lead group fitness classes and provide modifications for different fitness levels
- Physiology Knowledge: Understanding of human physiology and how it relates to exercise performance
- Sales: Strong sales skills to promote personal training services and generate new client leads
Note: Certification as a Personal Trainer is preferred, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
