The Payroll and Human Resources Assistant functions as a member of the Human Resources department of Education Success Network, assisting with processing timely and accurate payroll processing, as well as other HR duties as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
- Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rate.
- Maintain payroll files and records in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of payroll reports.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Support the Human Resources Manager with audits and other payroll and/or HR-related tasks.
Hours:
- Part-time position approximately 20 hours per week.
- Flexible working hours, with some availability required during payroll processing periods.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and plan work activity accordingly.
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, a plus.
Salary:
- $22.81-$31.46/hour based on experience
