- The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing daily activities as outlined below and completing special assignments as directed by the Quality Manager.
- Actively maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001
- Lead cross-functional teams to create and update Process Control Plans/Manufacturing Process Plans, FMEAs, and Process Masters
- Initiate and coordinate follow-up activity on Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAR/PAR)
- Review Material Test Reports for compliance to order specifications and submit to customer.
- Generate quality reports and update monthly key performance indicators (KPI) data
- Prepare First Article/Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission packages
- Perform Internal Quality Audits in conformance with ISO 9001
- Coordinate supplier quality activity including supplier quality audits and surveys
- Complete customer quality surveys
- Accomplish the organization's Quality mission by completing related activities directed by the Quality Manager

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Field of study: Engineering
- Experience in a Quality Assurance Role a plus
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001 required
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in heavy manufacturing preferred
- Familiarity interacting with databases such as manufacturing operations management and customer relationship management systems (MOM/CRM) preferred
- Experience with First Article/PPAP, CAR/PAR and KPI tracking methodologies preferred
