**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and patients by managing various tasks related to patient care, organization, and communication. The primary goal is to execute all responsibilities accurately, with a high level of quality, and within specified timelines. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct patient interviews and accurately document basic medical history information. - Coordinate and manage appointment schedules efficiently. - Update, organize, and maintain medical records and insurance reports. - Facilitate hospital admissions and coordinate laboratory services as needed. - Verify patient information and prepare patient charts accordingly. - Assist healthcare providers during medical examinations. - Generate and distribute correspondence including memos, letters, faxes, and forms. - Manage accounts receivable and payable tasks while maintaining financial records. - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments as per protocols. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience working as a medical assistant or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting. - Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures. - Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach towards patient care. - Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. - Outstanding organizational and planning capabilities. - Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with patient management software. - Degree or certification in medical assistance is preferred.
