Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite sushi dishes and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and special events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station
- Assist in catering events and special functions as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or restaurant setting
- Proficiency in sushi preparation techniques and Japanese culinary traditions
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
