Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated cook to join our team. As a cook, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, working effectively with other team members, and maintaining food safety regulations and cleanliness. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen manager or supervisor.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
- Assist with stock rotation.
Skills:
- Previous restaurant experience or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
