Stenner Pump Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Support and Network Administratorto join our team in Jacksonville, FL. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Senior IT Support and Network Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and patching server software, applications, and hardware to ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This frontline, internal customer-facing role involves interacting with team members at all levels within the organization, providing both in-house and remote troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to resolve complex problems, excellent communication abilities, a positive and helpful attitude, and a knack for suggesting creative process improvements. This is an on-site position.
Essential Functions
- Interact with users in-person daily and provide on-site and remote assistance in resolving technology support issues.
- Answering help desk phones and documenting issues.
- Image PC's and setup user's workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and copiers.
- Support technology implementations/upgrades.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and tasks simultaneously.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and resolve issues such as internet bandwidth problems, ISP issues and firewall / router changes.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves server connectivity and performance issues; monitors, analyzes, and manages network infrastructure traffic and other conditions to achieve optimal performance and uptime; understand and assist in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of LAN and WAN infrastructure, including on-site servers, WAPs, switches, routers.
- Analyzes user requests and evaluates multiple potential solutions to determine the best course of action and/or technology solution, delivering successful outcomes and provide general end-user training and documentation.
- Endpoint Patch Management
- Provide support and administration of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Mac OS, ERP Software.
- Windows Server Administration including Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Endpoint Protection management
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of IT support experience or network administration experience.
- CompTIA A+, Network + certifications preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills including multi-tasking and time management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Operating Systems and Mac OS.
- Hands on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of VMWare, and Microsoft Hyper-V operating environments.
- Knowledge and adherence to best practices of Cybersecurity.
- Experience with endpoint protection and patch management.
- Understanding of ERP software concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Highly motivated and exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; uses resources effectively.
- Must be able to lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
