Overview:
We seek a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Spark Behavioral Solutions dynamic team. The RBT will provide in-home one-on-one behavioral interventions to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based programs as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), documenting progress, and participating in collaborative team meetings. This position requires a patient, caring, and adaptable individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implement ABA therapy programs as written and supervised by a BCBA, including but not limited to discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and social skills training.
- Collect and record data on patient behaviors, skills, and progress toward goals.
- Implement individualized behavior plans under the guidance of BCBAs or BCaBA.
- Provide direct client care through one-on-one or group therapy to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments.
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Attend mandatory training and continuing education opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and the clinical team regarding client progress and any concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Prepare and organize materials and resources needed to execute therapy plans effectively.
- Assist with assessments under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disorders preferred.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate client records and data collection.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to different environments and work with individuals of varying age groups.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or other settings as required.
- Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, and maneuvering for extended periods.
- May require lifting, carrying, and assisting clients with physical activities.
Work Environment:
- The RBT will work in various settings, such as clients' homes, schools, and community settings. Flexibility to work after school hours and on Saturdays is required to meet client needs.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
