Essential Job Functions
At the direction of the Associate Director of Physical Security and working closely with the Firmwide Physical Security Team, the Safety & Security Training and Support Specialist will be the subject matter expert who is responsible for administering the preparation and support requirements for the Firm's FW Safety & Security function (health & safety, security, emergency preparedness and crisis management). This role will be responsible for developing plans and programing, working as a liaison between the Safety & Security team and its clients through program management, and safety & security outreach campaigns with Firm leadership. The Safety & Security Training and Support Specialist will evaluate existing safety programs, methods, and vendor relationships to make recommendations for improvement and ensure key stakeholders are compliant with regular safety protocols. This individual will play a key role in establishing a mindset and culture of safety and security awareness within the Firm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

Identify current and past process gaps and develop programing to update situational workflows, including but not limited to training specific to security and safety compliance to meet industry and local standards.
- Develop and evaluate security and safety guidelines for internal stakeholders, creating training and awareness collateral to include guides, resources, posters, videos, etc. for presentations to the broader Firm.

Evaluate and manage external security training vendor relationships.

Maintain records of training and certification specific to Safety & Security needs.

Engage with various departments across the Firm to conduct gap analyses and needs assessments on safety and security measures.

Work with key vendors to establish safety and security programs for their personnel working within our environment to best identify fail safes, gaps, and other workflow training needs for the Firm.
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and review safety and security training content.

Develop and maintain internal Firm communication standards on our internal SharePoint and intranet sites.

Make recommendations to the Safety & Security team by identifying the new needs, initiatives, and topics that are relevant to firm-wide security.

Partner with Human Resources to incorporate safety planning in orientation to ensure new hires have a consistent and comprehensive introduction to safety and security at the Firm.

Organize and manage safety and security training campaigns to Firm leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills

Experience within a safety or security organization facilitating training related to the following topics is highly desirable: workplace health and safety, evacuation or shelter in place, CPR/AED, workplace violence, mail hazards, emergency communications systems, floor warden and evacuation team duties, general safety & security awareness, and crisis management.

The selected candidate will hold a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in communication, educational development, training, human resource management, criminal justice administration, business administration, or a related field. The candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years' related experience in a corporate professional services environment.
