The Supply Chain Specialist supports the day-to-day logistics of ACE SUSHI's supply chain, including the transportation and storage of goods. Works to improve supply chain processes and ensure that our customers (franchisees) receive what they need. Responsible for maintaining supply chain data and information within the ERP and generates reports. Relies on trend forecasting to predict our inventory needs based on the potential needs of our franchisees. Communicates with the supply chain team to ensure there are no shortages or halt in the flow of products. Also plays a key role in managing customer service. Assists the Warehouse Manager with fulfilling large orders and managing the warehouse.

- Work with supply chain team to ensure franchisee needs are fulfilled.
- Review sales orders and approve once verified they are compliant.
- Facilitate New Store Opening orders (NSO) through the system at large.
- Facilitate inventory transfers in conjunction with accounting (primarily logical transfers driven by Chef changes).
- Update information in our vendor management system.
- Assist in developing and maintaining product catalogs.
- Develop and maintain equipment log.
- Work with SR Supply Chain Manager on generation of purchase compliance reports.
- Partner with various departments to enforce purchasing compliance.
- Set up systems for monthly physical inventory for the owned and operated warehouse.
- Optimize inventory performance via trend forecasting.
- Assist franchisees in trouble shooting tablets and printer issues in the field.
- Maintain a strong professional relationship between suppliers and the company.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
- Handle escalated customer service issues and serve as the "back up" to our full-time Customer Service Rep.
- Supports the Warehouse Manager in maintaining inventory, fulfilling large orders, and overseeing the warehouse when the manager is out.
We're excited about you because you have...
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related degree required
- 5+ years' experience in supply chain, preferably QSR or franchise operations; experience working in the sushi industry is a plus
- Proven experience with frozen temperature control products, inventory management and sourcing of new products
- Advanced Proficiency in using Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, sorting/filtering data)
- Proficiency in using Word and PowerPoint
- Skill in using ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus!) or other supply planning software, both operationally and understanding the concepts behind the tool
- Tech savvy and able to adapt to various cloud-based software programs
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with the team and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
