The Quality Inspector performs product inspections with magnified visual tools and
mechanical measuring devices to ensure product conformance to requirements.
Inspector will review technical data packages (e.g. assembly instructions, engineering
drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, etc.) to:
- Verify and resolve product configuration issues.
- Identify and assign rework actions necessary.
- Conduct Product Acceptance verification for work-in-process and final approval
- Log reports and findings (defects) necessary to ensure accuracy of all Quality
records for traceability.

Minimum of 3-5 years recent relevant hands-on experience

Basic understanding of ESD and clean room requirements per ISO standards.

Familiarity with basic shop fabrication and assembly tools

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and very tight timelines.

Proficient with Microsoft office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio.

Acceptable visual acuity and eye-hand coordination

Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assemblies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all company departments and customers.

Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, MRP, KanBan, and Just-in-Time (JIT).

Knowledge of mechanical drawings and Electrical schematics.

Knowledge or experience in product prototype or high-volume production builds and working with technicians/assemblers.

Knowledge or experience in creating work instructions, rework process, and developing production intent processes.

Ability to work independently and manage several challenging projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to this includes:

Troubleshooting circuit

Inspection of PCBA per IPC 610 standards

Remove and apply conformal coating.

Cut trace, solder components, and add jumper wires per DCN.

BCPA fabricating process from making of bare board to board population.

Employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, reach with hand and arm, and talk or hear.
