The Role:
The Affordable Course Materials Librarian works under the direction of the Dean of Libraries to provide oversight, strategy, advocacy, outreach, and project management for the creation, adoption, and campus knowledge of materials that will reduce costs for students in advancing equity through accessible collections. This person will work to develop, manage, and integrate collections that help students and support academic programs. The person in this position will serve as CWU Libraries' leading resource on a range of scholarly communication issues including open access, copyright, and fair use, assisting in compliance with legislative mandates, and open education resource (OER)related initiatives. This position collaborates on management of the CWU Libraries institutional repository, ScholarWorks. Faculty will integrate CWU's commitment to diversity throughout their work and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all students. All faculty librarians have department liaison responsibilities, provide instruction, participate in collection development, and contribute to research services
