Job Summary
The Senior Regional Manager (“SRM”) will supervise a growing team committed to providing post-sale support to our devoted customer base. Additionally, the role entails increasing revenue within this customer segment through effective lead generation and consumable sales. The SRM will foster strong connections with customers to facilitate product usage, streamline consumable reorders, elevate customer success rates, and promote higher capital device sales. This position requires developing and executing field-specific strategies with stakeholders to reinforce customer-focused marketing endeavors and enhance product adoption, all in line with corporate sales targets. Furthermore, this individual is tasked with cultivating and advancing a proficient team of sales professionals through effective coaching and leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Recruit, supervise, and mentor field support personnel to stimulate practice expansion.
- Collaborate with senior management to share market insights and devise strategies to advance the team's success plan.
- Ensure compliance of the field team with reporting obligations essential for regional success and overall market strategy. Help leadership in the development of metrics to better track and sustain high performance.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to customer accounts to sustain consistent communication.
- Provide education and assistance to their team and our customers in marketing strategies, encompassing digital program development, internal office branding, patient segmentation, and external marketing approaches.
- The primary financial performance requirements are to consumables sales growth and capital lead generation within individual accounts, thereby increasing region revenues and profitability.
- Maintain direct communication with sales, clinical, internal marketing, and field service teams to keep them informed of any updates or relevant information regarding customer accounts.
- Represent Cynosure at customer events.
- Identify opportunities for the sale of other Cynosure lasers during account visits and relay information to the sales team.
- Uphold and deliver the ethos of "Exceptional Everyday."
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Specific Area of Study: A BS/BA Degree in marketing or a related field is preferred
Experience
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Specific Related Experience: 5-7 years of experience in field-based marketing; a combination of sales and marketing experience is preferred.
Skills
- Experience managing a team
- Working directly with customers (e.g. physicians, business managers, nurses, etc.)
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Solid understanding of marketing including traditional, digital, and in-office marketing
- Database, CRM experience i.e., Salesforce.com is an added plus
- Proficient in tracking and analyzing data
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Efficient time management skills to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Passionate; self-initiated to drive performance and consistently deliver results and commitments on a timely basis.
- Consultative and supportive approach to assist with customer needs.
- Demonstrates good independent judgment and discretion.
