Management Resources is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our client based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role will be key in the manufacturing/construction industry, where you will be primarily responsible for bank reconciliation, balance sheet account analysis, and fixed asset analysis. You will also handle sales tax compliance monthly and work with general ledger and forecasting. This role offers a CONTRACT TO HIRE employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements
- Perform balance sheet account analysis to identify potential discrepancies and rectify them
- Manage fixed asset analysis to monitor and control the company's tangible assets
- Oversee monthly sales tax compliance to meet regulatory standards
- Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial transactions
- Implement basic forecasting techniques to predict financial trends and inform decision-making
- Utilize Infor (ERP system) for efficient management of business processes
- Show initiative and proactivity in carrying out tasks and solving problems
- Experience with Percentage of Completions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- General Ledger Experience and Management
- Manufacturing and/or Construction experience a plus
