The Integrated Center for Child Development (ICCD) is seeking pediatricians with an interest in working in the care and management of children and adolescents within our agency who present with various learning, developmental and behavioral challenges. For those with an interest, training, supervision, and mentoring would be available. Both part-time and full-time options are available. The position is hybrid, with in-office availability in any of our Newton, Canton and Lowell offices.
The Integrated Center for Child Development is a multidisciplinary group located across five sites in Greater Boston area and Providence, RI. Our team specializes in the evaluation and treatment of Learning and Developmental Disabilities. At ICCD a compassionate group of Developmental Pediatricians, Neurologists, Neuropsychologists, Counselors, Speech and Occupational therapists, Educational Consultants and Behaviorists collaborate to provide comprehensive care to our children and their families in an integrated care model. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive developmental assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental concerns, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Formulating comprehensive treatment plans with follow up to include medical, behavioral, educational, and therapeutic recommendations as well as psychopharmacological management.
- Collaborating closely with other members of our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Providing guidance and support to families, offering education on developmental milestones, behavior management strategies, and available community resources.
- Maintaining timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics and/or Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
- Proven experience conducting assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds and individual needs.
