Job Overview:
The Daycare Assistant Administrator will assist the Daycare Administrator in the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, caring, and educational environment for children. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for working with children and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of daily operations, including scheduling, enrollment, and attendance tracking.
- Works closely with Director to ensure a smooth flow of the day to day operations.
- Support the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children, staff, and activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to provide a positive and inclusive environment.
- Help coordinate events, meetings, and training sessions for staff.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility.
- Should be flexible enough to take on other roles throughout the facility.
- Pleasent/kind demeanor and outgoing personality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting or administrative role is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
