Remote-first
Since March 2020, our Zoomers have worked remotely and reported an overall better work-life balance with more time for family and personal wellness.
At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.
This position will be remote.
Overview
As a Market Research Manager, you will join our Product Marketing team. This position will be responsible for conducting market research projects, and serving as a research partner to teams across the organization. Success in the role will require senior level skills in data analysis, cross functional communication, and project and vendor management.
You will
- Manage both ongoing and ad hoc research studies from end to end, including writing research briefs, drafting surveys or discussion guides, field management, data analysis and presentation of results
- Work cross functionally to get the right insights to the right people at the right time
- Administer online data platforms, fielding questions from the org, managing user roles, and driving expanded systems integrations
- Be the voice of the customer in strategy development, informing critical decisions with data and insights
You have
- 3-5+ years of experience in client-side market research, preferably in the software / technology or media spaces
- Senior level data analysis / spreadsheet skills (descriptive statistics, formulas, pivot tables, stat testing, …)
- Experience leading complex market research projects from inception to action
Bonus if you have
- A variety of research experience, including quant / qual, across industries / organizations, client / agency-side, etc.
- Experience in Brand Health Tracking or NPS / Customer Experience measurement
- Experience working in media / communications analytics roles, either at agencies or for media / communications companies
- Experience using survey programming services like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey, data analytics platforms like Tableau or first party data platforms Cision or the Census
- A talent for data visualization or a passion for slide design
Additional notes
- The position is available immediately
- 30-40 hours per week, able to commit to a 6+ month contract
- Fully remote, working 9am-5pm PST
- Depending on the candidate, potential travel for 2-3 days/quarter (1 trip)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
